DAY 1 28/6/12
This is the hard scape I have decided on after playing around with it for a few days, I have still got to add some small stones by the sand but other than that im just waiting for some items to come in the post then i will be filling the tank up.

DAY 6 3/7/12
All the equipment and plants come in the post today so I finally got everything up and running. The water was really cloudy so I filled it up and then drained all the water out and then planted it up, So far I am happy with how it looks and hopefully the plants take well. I dosed ADA ferts and Bright K, also EasyCarbo to get things going. On a side note, I am really happy with the hang on filter it is silent and has a great turn over. I moved the sponge in to the middle compartment giving me room on both sides to add some media, I added 5 bio balls to each side and a bag of ADA bio rio media to each side. Unfortunately I could not fit the heater in the filter so I had to put it in the tank

Missed this one!!! You have some nice looking equipment! Can't wait to see it planted up! :)

Ooh good luck! I love to see smaller tanks planted. Hopefully I'll be able to steal some inspiration for my 5 gallon. :hey:

I like the stones - should be a nice contrast when there's some green about.

Has anyone used or is using the Arcadia Arc Pod 11w for growing plants ? Would just like a review of it really.

Pretty sure Steveo and StandBySetting has used them. Believe they're pretty good mate.

I had a pretty temporary set-up going with an Arcadia Arc Pod 11w (raising cuttings). It worked well for the few months that I grew plants in there.
