Wowww   .I wish I had the money for a marine.Out of curiosity how much did the whoel set up cost you?

Lookin great as usual Ikon. For hiding the overflow perhaps a thin stainless steel rod skewering a bunch of LR?

glue some frags of pulsing xenia / GSP to a rough piece of plastic, if you can only find smooth ones use sand paper to rough it a little. Tie or glue the frag onto the plastic then glue the plastic onto the overflow. Hopefully in time the overflow will be covered or laminate a picture of yourself and stick it to it lol. The fish will soon begin to know who is their master aswell as dieing of fright :D tank looks great though so far :good:

Ikon, what are using for lighting for that big guy. I'm keeping strickly softies too and want to know how you are handling it.

ski..i had rocks piled up in front of it before but theres not really much clearance between the overflow and front glass so it looks kind of awkward, the skewer might work if i use small or broken up rocks though.

rhys...good idea about the frags but ill leave it to you to hang a pic of yourself inside your tank :shifty:

as for lighting some might consider it not enough for a tank this size but for soft corals it does just fine and keeps every inch lit up and bright..i have a 250w hqi mh on either side and 2x65w pc retro kit in the middle just to disperse light evenly along the tank. i would have put a third mh in the middle but the overflow is there and i would end up with horrible algae growth inside of it

thanks for the comments!

Cool. To you believe that I could get away with 2 150s on a 75 simply holding softies?

definately, unless you are set on getting mh (wouldnt blame you) you could go with power compacts or t5's for soft corals only, they do just fine under them. plus going that route will keep the water temp down. but id recommend the mh because there is no comparison between them and anything less.
