300g Build Thread!

Figured id start this...

Got the tank in the house on 5/17:

Filled her with water and put the livestock in, then built the skimmer on 5/18:

Today i found a deal on another 100+ lbs of live rock full of mushrooms, zoos and a large toadstool. Added today 5/22:

Next comes the outter build of the stand and the canopy. Right now the lights are just up there out of place and there are wires everywhere but it will all be together soon enough! stay tuned

ive been working on the canopy for the last couple days..ive got the structure built and just added trim but still have to get the hinged doors on the front and stain the whole thing. the canopy is built from red oak:

Red oak! Wow...that has to be expensive....at least it is where I am it is. Just as expensive as cherry.

finished staining the canopy and doors and got 1 coat of clear coat on and painted the inside gloss white
