30 X 16.5 X 45cm To Fill

Need to pick some brains again!

Heres the situation..

I Have made myself a desk for a new project, and i would like a external filter, One half of the cabinet has been set aside for electrical stuff, and the other for filtration, The volume in the cuboard i am left with for the filter is 30cm x 16.5cm x 45cm, 16.5cm wide as you face it, 30cm deep, 45 high,

I have been looking around for measurments of cannisters, and from what i can see the best filter that will fit is the eheim 2213, as it is 16cm wide, (width is the problem,

The tank should be either a 3ft or 2ft cube, not decided yet,

The Favour.....

I suppose what i am asking is.........If you think you know of a good ext cann filter, that fits in this space, could you let me know what it is, that would be a great help,


Imaginative out of the box answers more than welcome as are DIY, answers

Summary whats the best filter i can get in there?

One more thing i am a bit confused about is i have read about some people having two taps on a eheim 2213, and in the ones i have seen for sale have only one, ???
Are the twin tapped ones larger?, and are they still availiable? as are they better than the single tapped?

I have decided to go for the Single tapped 2213, However I am still unsure about the difference between the twin tapped version and the one i have orderd, anyone shed any light on the matter?
