Hi i want to get a new 30 gallon and put cichlids in.Howw many should i get and how many male and female each.

For a 30g you could get a breeding pair of convicts and some dither fish. I wouldn't add any other fish other than dithers with cons that are breeding tho.

Have you given any thought to Africans for your 30g or would you just like to have New World cichlids?
