My fish are outgrowing my 10 gallon so I'm moving them into an empty 30 gallon. I have 5 neon tetra, 1 adult female platy, 2 young female platy, and an oto cat. I want to get 3 more neons, 1 or 2 more otos and 2 cory cats. Does anyone have any other suggestions on fish to put it the tank or just keep it at that. Thanks!

In my opinion, you could fit more fish in the 30 gallon. This is a good thing if you want to keep cory cats. They really need to be in groups of 6+ with the more the better. These fish travel by the hundreds and thousands in the wild, so they really do feel better in a larger group. Also, they need to have a substrate (the stuff on the bottom of the tank) and ornaments that won't hurt their sensitive whiskers with a great deal of open swimming area on the bottom. These fish never seem to sit still for any length of time, and are usually found searching your tank for food.

You could fit a small group of 6 in the 30 gallon along with your current stock.
