30-gal, Tigers And ?

In a 30-gal tank, I'd love to have a small group (8-10) tiger barbs. What else would you add to that? I'm thinking of like a centerpiece-type fish. Maybe a cichlid of some sort?
Any ideas?

I am thinking of a rtbs possibly and a small group (4-5) of danios.

How about a Convict? As long as you don't have a breeding pair they're really not THAT aggressive. I keep one in a tank with Tigers and they don't bother each other. Awesome fish too.
