Hello have desided to use my sump!! what shud i get to put in the 1st section / 2nd section / 3rd section??? the middle one is the biggest section?

I may think of a few other question on the go of fitting it! but other wise is ther any good links to read on setting one up?

Thanks gary

well if you have a bubble trap between the first and second sections, then you should put the inlet from the tank and the skimmer in the first section, some chaeto or other beneficial macro algae in the second section and the return pump in the third section. Or thats how I would do it anyways

Is there anythink i can put in the middle bit like coral sand ??? so i can put some plants in it maybe??

Dont i put any sponges or out in it? just algae?

I put all the rubble from the Live rock delivery in the sump along with a couple of cups of live sand. Seems to be doing well....

you can use bioballs or filter floss in the first section to collect any gunk or mess from the main tank before it enters the rest of the sump :good:

Sorry, can't really help you with that. I don't have any sponges. Seems to work fine without them, however, I would imagine it can't hurt. :good:
