3 Different Species Of Cory's - Do They Have Different Needs?

hey guys/gals

i have 3 different species of cory in my tank and wandered if they have the same needs as in temp,water etc etc

i have:

3 panda's
3 sterbai's
3 c.similis

i also will be adding 3 orange lasers when they ready

Similis and the panda will prefer slightly cooler temperatures to the sterbai, the panda's will require hiding places aswell they tend to be a bit more on the timid side so IME will hide alot more than the other 2 species

Similis and the panda will prefer slightly cooler temperatures to the sterbai, the panda's will require hiding places aswell they tend to be a bit more on the timid side so IME will hide alot more than the other 2 species

they have plenty of hiding spaces!! so many i cant find them sometimes.lol

what would be classed as cooler? i have my tank at the moment at 27.5,they all seem fine to me

what would the lasers require?

Panda's prefer around 20-24 i think and i think thats about 69-75 ish yours is around 81 ish so its a tad warm for them, the other 2 should be fine with them temps.

Lasers im not to sure on the temp required but i would imagine the temp your at would be fine.

should i think of rehoming the panda's then

The problem being the panda like 24 max, the rams need 26 min, however, I have my panda's (which were once Jenclibee's, Hi Mark ) at 26c and they are as happy as larry, so turn your temp down to 26 and you should get away with it
