If you don't mind me asking, do the ranchu have any problem swimming or healthwise without their top fin?

They can move it like hell on wheels when they want to lol. They are better suited to a shallow tank, and due to body shape (short and round) they can be prone to bloat issues, they need to be fed carefully (like most fancies)
