2Gal Lighting Question.

I have a spare 2Gal tank that I was using for bata Bob. He's now living happily in a 10Gal now with some friends. Any way. I was after some pointers on lighting for it.
 
I was going to try for some low to med light needs plants, heater, CO2 kit and a filter and some really really tiny fish or maybe a pico shrimp tank? Not sure if I would really need a filter for shrimp tank?
 
Any pointers for lighting would be tops!

Yes on the filter on the tank.  All living things need filtration in an aquarium.  What kind of tank exactly is it, can you find it online and maybe supply a link?

I have a three gallon tank that when I wanted to upgrade the lighting I got a WavePoint 6" 8 watt LED.I got the model that is a very pleasant 6500 k, but there is also a 10000 k model. I got it off of Amazon and am liking it a lot.
