I got a bow front 29G about 2 weeks ago and have been adding fish into the tank for about a week. I also have a 90G tank that has been running for about a year and has never had any problems. Well I had to filters going on my 90G tank so I took the smaller one off and put it on my 29G so it would cycle faster.(it is a 50G filter) I also used some of the rocks from the 90G too.

now I have 2 keyholes, 7 black neons, 9 neon tetras, 4 spotted corys and 1 bumblebee catfish. I have had no problems in the tank so far and the waters very clear. No unnatural spikes of ammomia, nitrites or nitrates. I also add some "good bateria" stuff into the tank everyday, its a 7 day process thing. Everything is good. I was wondering if I have a over stocked tank or could I add something more to it. I also was thinking about moving the bumblebee catfish into my 90G because I think It's going to get to big for the tank it's in now. What could I possiblly add to the tank if I was to move the catfish? Thanks for your time.

Bumblebee catfish are predatory fish and can apparently easily swallow fish up to 3inches long, so you should really move him to a different tank with stocking more safe with such a catfish as otherwise he'll have a feast in that tank as he matures. They have even been known to try and eat fish they can't even swallow properly, so only stock fish which are too big and fast for this catfish to eat.

I assume you are talking about this particular catfish (bumblebee jelly catfish);

What are the dimensions of your tank?
With the catfish gone you could perhaps add a few more cories. or pencilfish, or hatchetfish, or one of the smaller plec species. All good community fish that will get along with what you have and also keeping the South American theme.

My tank is 24 long, 12 wide, 19 high. I would really like to add some community fish into my 29G tank. Hopefully my tanks not overstoked. I really would like some suggestions on what I should add to the tank because I did move the bubmlebee catfish to my 90G tank. Maybe some cool tetras or algea eaters or cool corys.....How many more corys could I ad to the tank? Or maybe like 5 cool tetras.(suggestions on tetras would be great, I really would like a tetra with a lot charater and color) Or like 3 more corys and 2 ottos. Stocking suggestions would help so much...thanks
