How many cories would i be able to get in a 20gl.?

i was thinking
3 emeralds
4 albinos
and 3-4 peppered

what else are you planning on putting in with them? personally, i would stick with a bunch of one kind or a few of two rather than smaller numbers of 3 different kinds. they'll probably still hang out together, but seem to be happiest with their own.

Hi JoBodude :)

You should do just fine with that combination, especially if you have a 20 gallon long rather than a regular 20 gallon tank. They are perfect for corys.

BTW, you do mean green a.k.a. bronze corys, don't you? The emerald green corys are actually another species, brochis, which is similar to, but larger than corys. They will not work out as well as the regular C. aeneus. It would be good to be sure which they are before you buy them. :D

Even with all those corys, you will still have room at the top for a betta, if you want one. They are great companion fish for cory tanks.
