20gal Salt To Fresh

Hey Guys,
Someone just gave me a 20gal complete setup but it was salt water and I need it for fresh.

How do I get all the salt crystals off? What's the best way to clean it? Disinfect?

I just need to know what I should consider before putting fresh water fishies in

just wash it with FW alot, and the salt will dissolve, then you can throw the water and salt away. if you want to be 100% sure the salt is gone fill it up and take a water sample to your LFS and get them to slap it in a refractometer to make sure its ok.

DO NOT USE ANY CHEMICALS!

note: hot water dissolves salt alot quicker than cool water
