I recently brought a 20 gallon long and im interested in putting a new fish in my new tank,so im wondering what type of loaches are compatible with mollies and platties?(1 molly 2 platties)

did u cycle the tank? well, i've found that my old black kuhli loach went well with my mollies and platies.

Kuhli Loaches, Black Kuhlis, Weather Loaches and a few others I can't think of at the moment.

My Dojo/Weather loaches are doing fine in my 20 gallon with my betta, and are soon going to have some more tank mates as well!

Hi,

I would try and get hold of some chain loaches if i were you botia sidthimonki (SP?), they stay small and can be kept with loads of other fish as long as they aren't big enough to eat the loaches. I have 4 in with 3 clown loach and a zebra loach (will get more when i find some) and 6 khuli's. They are out in the open more than the others and spend a fair bit of time at all levels of the tank.

The kuhli loach is the best loach to put in a tank that size, in my opinion.
