I, personally, would get a pair of cichlids, dithers, and bottom feeders.

My ideal tank mates would be: rams, corydoras, some sort of dither fish.

Scuffles can occur in confined spaces, especially when breeding occurs. And cichlids (timid ones) require dither fish to feel safe and show themselves more often.

I'm with Tempestuous on this one, I'd go with one pair of cichlids (Rams, Kribs, Apisto - whatever floats your boat), the dithers, and the cory's. I went with Kribs, as you can see.
