20 Gallon Long Tank Stocking?

My tank just got done with it's fishless cycle. I want a pretty low maintenance tank and was thinking about getting 10-12 zebra Danios and 10 ghost shrimp.

I'm currently running a Oase 100 FiltoSmart Filter and a Aquaclear 20.

My questions are, are Danios or the ghost shrimp messy at all?

Neither danios nor ghost shrimp are messy.

Danios need cool water (15-16C) over winter, and try to keep them cool in summer so they don't age as fast. An unheated tank is usually fine for them and ghost shrimp.
