20 Gallon High

It's been a while since I've posted here. I kind of ran short on money so I put all my hobby's on the back burner. Now I have a little cash so I’d like to do something with my tank or start a new one.

I have a twenty gallon high community tank at the moment.
• 2 yellow glow danios
• 2 male guppies
• 1 BIG female guppy
• 1 kuli loach
• 1 wag platy
• 1 black molly
• 2 mystery snails
• 1 small algae eater of an unknown variety.

I’d like to add three neon tetras but I’m afraid it will over stock my tank. Any suggestions for this tank?

Tetras need to be in groups of at least 5 individuals. The inch per gallon guideline says that you should be able to fit them in, but I am not sure how they would fare in a 20H tank. There isn't alot of surface area for gas exchange.
