is there a right time to add a co2 system ?

my tanks been running now for around 6 weeks , theres nothing in there at all apart from 10 neons 2 corys and a plec .

and of course a few rocks just for shelter ...........


also im looking at HL lighting, how much of a temperature rise am i likely to see using this kind of lighting , and will i be able to house

the hl lighting inside my hood ? or does the unit itself run hot ?

You can add CO2 whenever you wish. I would just advise that you research all of the available systems carefully. Secondly, Im not sure what you mean by HL lighting. Do you mean metal halide lighting or is HL a make. Maybe I'm just being a bit slow this morning.

forget the lighting question, as i have just purchased 2 tubes @ 39 watts they are the t5 high output ones , superb lighting now

as far as the co2 system goes, thats now on the back burner , till next month , ive already looked into the type id like, and it seems to be ideal, made by jbl , ill add details for that later if theres any interest.
