2 new fry

Well, as you may know I accidentally killed one of my fry the other day I went to pick up some tubing and an airstone at Petsmart this AM and decided I would get a plant. There were all kinds of fry in their planted tanks!!! African cichlids and livebearers. I picked out an orange swordie with black spots and another black mollie to replace the one I killed accidentally. I tried to get what looked like a red platy but he was too fast... They are both so cute. I love fry.

Congrats, i love fry but don't breed anymore, to heart breaking to let them go.

I find it hard to let them go too - I finally took some black mollies and platies back to my lfs 2 weeks ago - they were nearly 6 months old by that point. I kept thinking some small child would end up with them and kill them in no time, when they had been happy and thriving with me - their mum!! )

Same here, all the effort and love you put into them and i didn't want beginners getting there hands on them, but i had to let them go as i couldn't keep them all, but i suppose we were beginners once.
