2 Missing Gold Algae Eaters

Hi everyone,

Check out my signature.... it says I've got 3 Gold Algae Eaters. And I've seen all 3 of them last night. However, tonight, there's only 1!! I looked and looked and looked. I even uprooted all my plants looking but to no avail. Not even remains of the 2 missing fish.

OK, I know the Gold Algae Eater left is the aggressive one, but could he have killed the other 2? He chases them but I've never seen him behave violently against the other 2. There were no unsual behaviours of the fish tonight. Water conditions are normal.

What could account for the 2 missing algae eaters?

did you check inside your filter?

I haven't checked the filter yet, but the strainer of the intake is very tight.

But I will check it tonight.

They haven't got stuck in a ornament, always check the filter with a torch if it's is a juwel tank, hope they turn up.
