USA,
so my guppy got sucked up the filter, i got him off and he went to the top and then fell under into aplant, my mollie also looked sick, she was in a plant then she was on the gravel, i think she was dead, not sure though. i ahd 2 go to school so i dont know how they r or if theyre dead. what could have caused this? i dont think its the water, i dont have a kit so im not sure though, but the others are doing great

wrs, how long have you had the tank up and running with your fish? The guppy accident dosen't sound so good. How's the molly now?

ALASKA

i dont know how the molly is, in schjool, during computer class, the tank i have now is new, my old tank is leaking so i put all the water in the new one, and just added more water like a water change, so i had 2 put the fish in there, everything was the same though, id say about 2 weeks now. i know thats not what ur supposed 2 do, but i had no choice.

Sorry to read what's happening. When you set up the new tank, did you use the old filter? If you did then that's a fine way to set up a tank and the way I always set mine up.

It'd be really useful if you could test the water as problems often can be sourced there. For now, I'd do a 20-30% water change and maybe add some sort of stress coat. I'd suggest salts but you have catfish.

they died. :( . ill do the water, but i have a ? about that, how long does it take declorinator 2 work? yes i did use the old filter, only for a week though, it was 2 small for the tank, i did use the cartige after though, i just changed it 2 days ago. ive used salts before because the person that sold me the cat fish said it was ok, but they looked sick, so i stopped and theyre fine now.

thanks. the only one ill miss is sampson the guppy though, they were both mean fish and did theyre share of killing fish, but sampson was one of my first tropical fish and noe there is only one survivor from the original 4. i hope my platy fantasia doesnt go anytime soon. :-(

the guppy was sucked up the filter. i bet the molly was 2, i havent tested the water in awhile, the only thing that was a bit high was the Ph, and the amonia was the lowest color on the tester, it should be down all they way now.
