2 bettas in 1 bowl

i have a betta fish (male) in a 1gal bowl. i would like to know if i could get a female betta to go in the same bowl. would the male beat up the female or would the bowl be to crowded? he is in a bowl with a shell he hides in and an ornament.

if you want a female you know you are breeding them so if you are ready to breed get a 10 gal tank ok

my grandson has a fish tank he could put them in for me, its a 30 gal.

you shuold not put a beeding betta in a community tank if the 30 gallon is

The male would most likely kill the females- they should not go in the same tank unless you are trying to breed them, as gouramiguy said. Two bettas in a 1 gallon bowl would be overcrowded, anyway
