Just got my light and heater and starting a little 2.4 gal nano, 11w of light so im thinking it should be sufficient to grow a few nice plants in there. Also probably go for a couple of shrimp or a betta.

Want to ask you guys what else I may need to get this one planted? :good:

Thanks mattb22

Next you could add a background of some sort.
Is the substrate nutritional, if not this could restrict your plant options.
If you want really good plant growth you could invest in a C02 unit or
make your own, and buy some liquid fertilisers.

Try to buy small leaved plants to create a bigger picture and maybe some
rocks or wood to it.

Ye will saw some wood of bogwood from tank downstairs as for a background I am unsure as of yet but what sort of substrate is nutritional to the plants?

Thanks mattb22

I use flora base in mine.

Do put a black background or something behind your tank to hide the wires, and CO2 is always good, if you have the space.

I use flora base in mine.

I am also using Florabase and EcoComplete, but there are loads of other nutrtitional substrates
like Flourite and the famous ADA brand.

Aqua Essentails stock a good range of Substrates and loads of other plant equipment too.
