hi im going to go nano ive decided and nothing can change this. I would of bought a big tank but i cant afford a 100gallon tank or whatever some people have sugested for a 1st tank. but yer so what work is envolved with say a 14 (imperial) gallon? and would i have to upgrade the lighting on my tank
its a 2x11w PL oh and yes someday i owuld be intrested in coral

IMO you would be spending lotta money if you were to get a 100gallon but it would be sooo worth it .

you may well be able to keep some stuff under those lights (my leathers are always open on a bright morning before the tank lights come on) maybe GSP or mushrooms or something.

I'd just go on ebay if I was you and get a T5 compact starter and a bulb - I think at 24inches they will give you 55w - cheap and easy.

...just don't put it near anything that will melt.

yerp im getting a twin 36w starter and daylight/ actinic bulbs. should support a hell of a lot and i love clean up crews sometimes more fascinating than the fish. but yer id get some crabs. dunno bout hermits as arnt they dirty little thiefs?
