It looks pretty good :good: is that hornwort you have or fake plants? What's on the driftwood? Just wondering what are you planning on keeping in there, what size is the tank?

Looks good so far, lots of room to expierement with.

Looks like Cabomba to me.

I'm not very good at aquascaping but, maybe you should try and find another interesting piece of bogwood. Also, you could try and seperate the Cabomba a tiny little bit. To make it look like theres more of it. Have you taken the lead weights of them?

What lighting do you have?

thanks heaps guys....

.. yeah the plants are cabomba
.. Tank size is 90cm lenght 30cm depth and 45cm height
.. There was no weights on the plants just a small piece of wire to keep it together which is still on.
.. Just some cool mini bamboo shoots i heard they thrive in water we will soon see.

thanks heaps ill look for some more bogwood

YOurs in Fish...
:p

Oh yeah and i just have a 3ft flouresecent tube 30watt

how about some fish.. lol

what kind of fish are you planning on keeping in there?

Well i have been told from a few people i shoould start by getting some platy. maybe 2-3
so hopefully that what ill start with..

Maybe later on i would love to get a school of neon tetra's some guppies and maybe some type of gourami and shark....

thanks i would love some suggestions of fish that would be appreciated.

Yours in fish

Is that lucky 'bamboo'? -_- Thats stuffs poisonous to most animals, but i dont know about fish, maybe worth taking it out just in case? Bamboo isn't aquatic, it can survive with its roots in water but needs to grow out of the tank, if it cant do that fast enough it will die and pollute the water, just like when people accidentally get sold non-aquatic plants from their lfs :) .
Also, do you know what type of water you have in the tank? It will help in fish suggestions :).

i'd move the bogwood to one side or the other, it looks too symetrical.

one of the main things to do with aquascaping is mentally divide the tank into thirds, put the bogwood 1 third of the way into the tank, build up a heavier area of planting around and behind it, then have it sort of dwindle off as it goes down the tank.

for some ideas and inspiration google takashi amano :D
