18" Complete Setup For Sale, Located In Tring, Herts.

Hi all, this tank is still currently in use but all being well should be empty next weekend so thought I would put it out there now! The tank is a 18 " clearseal tank holding approx 44 litres. It comes with an 18" Arcadia over tank Luminaire, Eden 501 external filter, Fluval tronic heater and Rena air pump. The tank is in good condition, it came with no lid so one of my friends made me one out of a sheet of perspex which fits nicely while leaving room for the pipework. It is however quite scratched as I took a scourer to it but you honestly don't notice it when it is on the tank unless you sit at a weird angle! The filter is brilliant, I have had Fluvals and Renas on my other tanks and this has outshone them all! It has never failed to start or airlocked etc. It will come with mechanical media but I need the biological media for my new tank. Both heater and airpump are in good working order. Please note the airpump will need hosing and a new airstone. This set up is perfect for dwarf puffers (what I originally set it up for) as the water filtration is second to none. Failing that is would look lovely with some Tetras/shrimp or a pair of shell dwellers (what I use it for now). The black gravel can be included but please note there are lots of Malaysian trumpet snails living in it. This tank is really lovely and the curved front edges really set it off. Only selling as I have just blown £300 on a new Rena cube and the occupants of the tank are going to be moved into the Rena and my boyfriend has imposed a silly "1 tank per house" rule

So just to clarify what is included in the sale:

18" Clearseal Tank
Arcadia Overtank light (belive arcadia have actually ceased making these in this size)
Eden 501 external filter with all pipe work and mechanical media
Fluval tronic heater
Homemade lid
Fine black gravel if you want it

I was thinking around £70 as it is a unique set up but am open to offers and advice!

Ok, obviously the price is a bit rich for some so how does £50 sound? With a box of brand new fluval biological media (ceramic rings). Come on, you know your tempted!

i am tempted, mainly because of the luminare- its ace, but i have just today set-up a tank like this today, arc35 litre, so theres not much point- just to let people know 50 quid is a bargain for that btw

yes it is a arcadia arc tank not a clearseal tank but at 50 quid its a hell of a bargain free bump

Actually it is a clearseal tank, the arcs were too small for my light so I ordered this specially from clearseal. Plus it says clearseal on it.
