16/22Mm Equipment Eheim

I have got a eheim 2213 which will go on my 125 rio
I just bought a full kit of tubes, outlet inlet etc, but they are 16/22mm where the 2213 is 12/16mm
Question is if I buy a hose reducer would it run ok with larger pipe work leading to bigger outlets etc with a reducer between the hoses

it will work fine but you'll get reduced pressure (flow rate will stay the same but water will appear to be moving more slowly due to the bigger pipes). You can get your water velocity back up by cutting down the spraybar so the water comes out of fewer holes.
