I really wish I had kept the reciept for this as its under a year old, when I bought it the lid was broken, I've read so many posts from those whose petsathome nano cubes of this design had leaked but hoped for the best. The inhabitants had to go in my 106L (3 neons and an assassin)... bit of culture shock for them!

How the tank was looking (really loved this little tank!)

Drain it quick!

Leaking from rear corner, quite quickly (an inch in a couple of hours)

Note to self, stop taking chances with extension cords! That was close!

You don't need a receipt!

See the 10 myths I posted on this thread http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/378119-noisy-air-pumps/page__p__3165278__fromsearch__1#entry3165278

I would think you are in a strong position, especially after the hoo haa that practical fishkeeping had with those tanks and their subscription offer.

Cool cheers :)

my only worry is that I have siliconed a 3D background onto it....

I may keep it and use it to grow cacti or similar.

Ye Gods I just saw the dust I kicked up from that corner ew! its all gone now ;p

Have to ask yourself, 'Have I done anything that would weaken the structural integraty of the tank?' Obviously, adding a background wouldn't otherwise a lot of people would be flooding there homes because of doing just that. If you haven't done anyhting to the tank and it leaks then you should be entitled to some compensation (a new tank at least), especially as it seem to be a recognised fault in those tanks. I'm not sure if there was a product recall of that model, but they definately stopped selling them because of an issue known to them.

This doesn't surprise me, I refuse to go P@H any more as When I started out I bought a small Tank from there, both of them blew there seals, then had two heaters shatter on me inside the tank

I then got a 10 year old 3' tank from a friend, resealed it and never had i problem. I think the build Quality and/or the way they handle there stock has to be questioned in my opinion.

I liked the way this tank looked like an under water swamp, looked awesome. You getting another set up pal?

yup :) hoping to get hold of an old 24" to put on the lower rungs pf my stand to rehome my aggressive pitbull

Just bosh a load of silicone over it, cant see the base or back anyway, job done. :)
