i wanna put a pool in my back yard and make the front all glass so i can keep 150-200 fully grown oscars in there for life has anyoneever tried it

well once i tried that, but then i realized i was an idiot

nope never tried it

weirdo

can you just imagine what that would do to your electric bill? and how about trying to keep it clena with that many messy eating oscars?????

I have never tried it. Hwat will you use for filtration and what will you heat it with and where are you going to get the outlet for the filter and the water heater have thought out that part yet. Just wondering because that is a very very important part of it. also what are you going to do when it rans. the PH in rain water is about 5.0. Just some considerations.

you put a cover on it you get a pool heayter you get a pool filter and your set with a light built in

My uncle turned his pool into a giant koi pond and he has some that are like 3' its sorta scary to see giant koi and carp in his pool!

i did all the maths and for your oscars to be happy and have room you would need 12000g of water. lol thats like 1/3 of my pool. so its going to cost you more than 10,000 us dollors. lol and the fish will be more than 800 for juvenile oscars.

Okay, first thing that went through my head was, glass... break... oh $h!t. Then, I was thinking, is anything going to try and eat the oscars? And then, can you imagine the feeding frenzy those things would go into? And you could probably never go swimming with them... Hmm, I'd get a shark (not the kind that would try to eat me either!)

What am I talking about, the only pool I ever had was blue and plastic and about six inches deep...

what would you possibly need a pool sized oscar tank for...?? ...also you sig says you have some pretty huge tanks to begin with...500 and 800 gal. wow. whats the dimensions of those and how about some pics... :sly:
