I have a fifteen tall gallon tank, i will be putting in marine sand as gravel and about three or so big round stones. I will be doing a fishless cycle this time (my first) :D Not sure if i need plants or not since i plan on getting african cichlids. I definately want to get an ocelot or two, i just love and admire those shell guarding little guys, such courageous lads. I was wondering what other cichlids to get as a nice little touch to the rest of the tank w/o stressing out the ocelots.

Agreed - your shelldwellers will take the entire bottom of the tank, so no other cichlids will be compatible.

Allow me to clarify, im sorry the kind of cichlid i was talkin about is a lamprologus ocellatus which is about an inch long. I think i'll be able to fit more than two of them in my 15. Any other suggestions?

You can fit two pairs of Occelatus. You don't have room for any other types of cichlids, is more what I meant. Tanganikans are just too territorial for it. You may be able to do a single pair of Occ and a single, smaller rock dweller.
