AS stated i have a 15 gallon tank spare and i was wondering what should i do with it?

Can you guys and gals please throw me some suggestions as to what fish i should put in the tank? IM open to any and all suggestions so go nuts... :p

Thanks in advance..... oh yer and im leaning towards tropical so no marine or cold water suggestions thanks :sly:

Love You aLL

Cheers Sam :D

neons guppys dwarf puffs other small tetras

with a tank that small i would usually worry more about aquascaping than anything else...once youve got it all aesthestically pleasing then what kind of fish to put in there will be obvious

or a vivarium or something if u like to make stuff (i just made one out of a 10g)

one option is to use it to breed something(which i always find fun)
or you could add a pair of dwarf cichlid eg. rams
or yo could fill it with small community fish eg. neons, guppys, cories

it all dependes on what type of fish you like

My suggestion is to trade it for a bigger aquarium. You are limited as far as what you can keep. :sly:

Ive already got a 65 gal and a 37 gal....

I dont think mum would like if i gots another one :p

I think i mite just get some guppies... i havent had livebearers for a while and i do love lookin after the fry and watchin them grow and get there colours.... and then i can top up my 65 gal with little babies..... theres plenty of room in the 65 for babies as i havent anywhere near stocked it fully yet.

So what do u reckon 4 the 15 gal.. Maybe go 2 male guppies and 5 females... and then maybe 3-4 peppered cories? what do u think of that...? and then ill just go to town on the aquascaping and make it look a mini jungle. That way when the guppies have fry they can just take there chances in the plants and rockery?

Do u reckon i could fit 3 oscars in the 15 gal?????

Cheers Sam!

Three Oscars sounds good. A couple Arrows, some stingrays and a nice school of 12 Red Tail Cats might go well in there too. And a Volitan Lion! :p ;)

15g....hmm, I say, use it as a sump, fry tank or female betta tank. Then again, I am a loser B)

You could also set it up for a quarantine tank, always handy in an emergency. :dunno:

Put a few newts in there. They need cooler temp. tho' and some don't need much land, so you can keep other cold water fishes in there as well such as WCMMs. Plus, they don't need a heater. Feed them 3 times a week, and change 1/4 of the water every week and you're all set.

Or a QT tank would be great too.
