14 Scissor Tails Hide But When I Had 3 In The Tank They Would Not

i have 14 scissor tails in a 50 gallon tank but they stay at the back of the tank if i come near the tank they swim very fast to hide from me
but when i had 3 scissor tails they would swim around & not hide

i through scissor tails like to be in groups
what is wrong with them

What else is in the tank with them? How long have they been in the tank?

6 phantoms are in the tank with them

they have been in there ......

3 have been in there for months
6 have been in there for 2 weeks
5 have been in there 2 days

Wierd! it could be that if the news ones are jumpy then they all decide there's something to be scared of, and once the new ones settle, the rest will.
Assuming the water params are fine, I'd leave it a couple days before worrying about tehm!
