I was actually sold a male as a female so when i went to breed HiM with another male he got beat up bad so then put him in with a placid female and they got it together just before he died RIP....... and i have 10 babies from that spawn 7 females and three males, so his off spring carry on wasnt sure what they were because of the extensions, sent picture to bc bettas and they confirmed short tailed plakat but the female im sure has CT geno so they may well turn out as CT plakats time will tail (sorry a pun)
