There is water hooray!
decided not to do a puffer but im going with either Neolamprologus or Telmatochromis. Not sure yet, I have more research to do. Still have plenty of time to decide, just started feeding the tank yesterday :p

If anyone has experience with either of these genus' please let me know what you think :good:

The multis are coming in next Saturday (maybe, the salesman told me he wasn't 100% he could get them), which is a good thing. I can't seem to get the ammonia in the tank to go under 1ppm, i tried adding some bio media to the new filter from one of my old filters, maybe this should do the trick.

Should help, will defo speed up the process

I added a refrigirum (is that spelled right?)

Kinda nuts, might add another siphon tube for more flow, but idk if that will work...

Well I ended up geting Lamprologus ornatipinnis :D. Ill get pics up as soon as they are acclimated

Is that 10G or 10L? that Bulb looks huuuuge! Looks good though :good:

that light unit is scaring me...it looks really unsafe. Besides that, i love Multis and want to keep them one day. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

Lamprologus ornatipinnis from the few hour i have had them, they seem to be a very timid fish. Its difficult to sex them, but from their behavior is looks like out of the 6 I got 4 of them might be males. Each fish appears to have claimed it's own shell around the rock. When i first put them in, they were keen to get nice shells close to the rock; and some squabbles ensued but nothing to bad. They are very timid at the moment, diving back to their shells whenever I approach the tank. If I sit and watch them they will eventually loosen up and continue competing for territory, just visual displays; (thankfully) not a whole lot of physical contact. I tried feeding them today but not surprisingly they were not interested in my brine shrimp  . I am not having ammo trouble the highest i got to was .5 and that was after I feed them; so I did a water change to get the food out.

I do think they need more room and they could benefit greatly from dithers, I plan on moving them into a soon to be 48" 55g. My current stocking as of now is a large school of Cyprichromis Leptosoma and my amazing Lamprologus Ornatipinnis.

Edit: almost forgot The pictures
