'[#10226] You Are Not Allowed To Use The Private Messaging System.

I recieved a private message and when I clicked on the notification it said this [#10226] You are not allowed to use the private messaging system. I can't even seem to find the PM link in the bar which appears under your profile name when you click it.

Help meeee! please.

Hi, welcome to the forum.


You need to have a certain amount of posts to use the private messaging system. I think its about 15?

I think you have to have made a certian number of posts before you can send/receive PMs BUT I can tell you that it was probably just telling you you'd successfully added me as a friend

Same problem here and I'm at 10 posts. I have a started conversation but I'm unable to view it. I'll see what happens after a few more posts.

I'm guessing it's because posts in the general discussion section don't count towards your post total.
