dimensions 72"x18"x18" 100 gallons.

it has paint on the back with rocks attached with aquarium sealant. I want to remove the paint and the rocks how hard will this be.

It has been sitting in the weather for 3 weeks what ill effects will this have on the seals.

It has no hood no stand no nothing except a 50lbs bag of creek gravel. The price is $60 US. Is this reasonable?

I have to haul it myself with a pickup truck. Does anyone have any tips on how I can do this safely?

I will probably have more questions later. I have to go pick my mom up at the hospital but i'll be on later tonight.

I may go pick it up tommorrow so quick responses would be greatly appreciated. Thanks soooooo much.

what kind of equipment will i need to buy and how much will it cost? hoods, filters, etc. How much of it can I do my self and how should I go about it?

I know I'm asking a lot of you guys and I really appreciate any help you are willing to give me.

sounds like a deal but when you get it keep it outside fill it up and check for leaks! umm and ifyou want you can sell the gravel and buy different stuff (if you dont want the creek gravel) hmm if i were you i would re-up on the sealent! 60 bucks is kinda suspicious to me :sly: lol but yea thats all i can say... ummm a hood could cost anyhwere from 30 to like 100 dollars! and a good filter for this kinda tank is a canister one! umm well actually it all depends on if it will be fresh or saltwater! but yea this is all i can think of!

no go on the 100 gallon. The tank had an impact mark on the top. The plastic frame was broken away and the glass was cracked a bit. I don't trust it enough to take it away for free. So I'll keep looking

thanks a lot man I need some consoling. passing up such a monster was HARD. I wanted to cry as I was driving away. But I suppose it's for the best.

^_^ welcome... yea i know how you feel i hate it when i have no room for the tank but its a great deal... but i still cant get it! :(

do you have any ideas on how I should go about finding another deal? I wish I just wanted a bigger tank, not that I don't. I need one. Look at my profile and you'll see why. 4 rfbs in a 29 is a bad idea.

:D thanks but that won't help much. If your getting a bigger tank I would say go for a 55. It isn't that much more expensive, and I bet that once you have the 30 for a while you'll want a bigger one.
