:D hi
im getting a 10 gallon tank or maby a little smaller and i was thinkin what to put inside it

just think maby 2 tiger barbs or 2 bettas or 2 angle something like that ANY HELP PLZ

THANKS

Right... Well, tiger barbs are schooling so you'd have to have a group of 6+, two bettas would work in a divided tank, you could get away with more though, 4 would be OK. Two angles? Do you mean two angelfish? No, they get too big for a 10g.

yeah get 3 bettas but dont put them in the same tank unless you have seperated the tank into 3 sections.

PLEASE sort out your current tank before getting another.

Male bettas will fight each other to the death. They'll also kill females. 3 female bettas will pick on each other and kill the least dominant in time. The minnimum number of female bettas to keep is 4. 4-5 FEMALE bettas would work - no more, no less, no other fish.

Tiger barbs require a much larger tank and a group of at least 7. They are extremely nippy. They are out of the question.

Angelfish get big. They need a tall tank of 30 gallons minnimum. Pairs become aggressive when breeding. They are also out of the question.

Fishless cycle the tank before putting anything in it. Oh and anything under 10 gallons isn't suitable for anything but a SINGLE betta.

With a tank of that size you're very limited. Once the tank is cycled you could have one of the following:

6 cherry barbs

6 Harlequin Rasboras

6-8 White Cloud Mountian Minnows (These require slightly cooler temperatures).

6-8 Neon Tetras

Or, you could keep a single betta. Such a tank will be extremely low maintenance. I used to have a 10 gallon tank with a single betta and some plants; it was beautiful. Less is more.

5 or 6 Harlequin Raboras

Beautiful fish and would make a great tank

Neons or Cardinal Tetras are always a good bet for a small tank too.

PERSONALLY, if I had a 10G to fool around with...I'd do a dwarf puffer. That'd be awesome. They only need 10 gallons.

Just wanted to point out that cherry barbs actualy do better kept as a trio as they are not a schooling fish. A group of 6 would work if you kept more females than males and provided enough hiding places so that the males could devide the tank in two.
