10 gal female tank

of corse im going to well plant it... silk plants though cant be bothered with real and im not aloud them cuz my dad is paranoid about snails so what do you guys think... i know i can the 5 with fishy and the 10 with girls so i need to know how many girls

This is what I suggest 4 Females....So the aggresion will be spread...

Get MANY silk-plants and hiding places like terra-cotted pots

And get them some companions like cories.....

the rule is 4 or more per 10gal. (but probably no more than 8...)
personally mine each have 6. that number works for me but it may not work for you.

at first its basically trial and error.

Ok then 4 is ur magic number....Especially if there gonna be there for a while

Female bettas really like and DEFEND there territory.....

I had to learn that the hard way..

Also its basically the coice of the female...I ahve some that are so peaceful they swim with eachother....

Others who have a female right by there side and flare there gills out.....

So add 6 like jacblades and keep reducing them...Cause the first thing any femae does is flare to the other saying this is my turf. After that many females will start to fight. Thats when u come in and be refferee.....

If they're siblings you could probably get away with more than 4.

gotta talk to cc bout all sibs cuz im trying to wait to set the colour of the gravel to match hers... because i think its her marble dude and opaque girly that im gettin the babies from what colour should i guess they gonna turn out

Even if they are siblings, they still can and will be mean to eachother. My betta that i have now used to live with some sisters, which are all now dead, because she beat them up so badly!
