10,000k Marine Bulbs

Will it be ok for freshwater?

Whats the different about freshwater and marine bulbs?

i use a 5ft metal halide unit for freshwater it has 3 250w 14000k (not quite sure on that) they are quite blue and the tank look really good they also make the plants grow well (when they are not being eaten) so they will be fine mate imo

marine is a sharper more true light temp and spectrum and brighter (i think lol)

this is what mine looks like during the day with the halides on , are you on about tubes or halides ?

and this is my jewel rio 300 with marine tubes im not sure what K they are maybe around 10,000K they are white
