Ok, so what's he worth then? :look:

Alrite mate, roughly what size is the fish? approx?

I'd say an extemely healthy 4" in length with a good girth

Ah, nice! is it aggressive towards your other fish? if so how aggressive?

Well, being a Cichlid he does have attitude to most fish below his size untill he has established his status but this only includes bursts of chasing. However he has been relentlessly hounding my pair of Frontosa's which I do want to bring on so I will have to unfortunately rehome him. He is a lovely specemin, full of character and cost me £32!

ah yeh, just typical cichlid behaviour then. i keep tangs and malawis in same tank and i got one tropheus in there currently and he is doing fine. i do agree he is lovely, i love the colour of him and would love him in my tank. im currently in the process of waiting for a tank to be made for me but i have a tank for fish still just not got all my rock formation in it but the cichlids fine for now with little rock just lots of feeding

what sort of price did you have in mind?

Like I mentioned he cost me £32 when smaller and now he is such a specemin he could be worth that or more but I would like a £25 as I need to rehome him asap before I loose my Frontosa :-(

Yeh, you dont want to loose your frontosa, and i do like him a lot like i said the colour is brilliant! never seen one that colour before.

would you accept £15 and a packet of variety wafers if i collect?

Yeh i didnt think you would accept but thought i would try :p

I can afford £20 as i will need petrol to drive to collect

Aaron89 where are you from?

Portsmouth mate
oh not too far then.

If I were to let him go to you, being a responsible fishkeeper I have to ask what exactly would your plans be for him, ie tank size/filtration, tank mates etc?

Hey, even Pet@Home do that

haha, i hate Pets@Home, such a poor shop in my opinion.

I am currently having a new tank built for me.

The tank will be L X D X H 46" X 16" X 22"

Filtration is a Fluval 305

Tank mates, malawi and tangs with a few catfish and a BN plec.
