1 Pound Of Lr To One Gallon Of Water Question

If I have a 29 gallon tank and a 10 gallon sump, can i put about 22 pounds of LR in the main tank and then 15 pounds in the sump? or does it all have to be in the main tank?

That would work just fine so long as there is decent water circulation in the sump. Depending on the flowrate through your sump, you MIGHT have to put a small poerhead in there to make the LR work most effectively (say a 100gph one)
