I bought this Saturday from a LFS selling it as spiderwood and was told it wouldn't leach tanins and no need to boil... Although I did, for 6 hours. Changing the water out halfway thru. Both times the water was very dark brown. I let sit in a bucket of tap for about 20 hours and no more...
