Just incase anyone wondered, as Excel has the additional benefit of being an effective algaecide in some circumstances, normal dose does NOT kill moss balls.   I got a response from the Seachem tech support on this today.

So I keep thinking about this more and more and now that I have finished stocking my tank with fish I am toying with the idea of adding shrimps. My only concern is whether or not they will be preyed upon by my fish. I have in my tank: 2 Pearl Gourami's 4 Zebra Danios 4 Guppies 4 Harlequin...

I saw Moss Balls at my local store and was wondering - Do the fish nibble on these, especially Algae Eaters?   I've tried giving the Algae eaters some lettuce, small pieces of carrots, and very little is eaten and I have to take it out the next day.   I'd like to get some to change up my fishes...
