Ok so 6 months down the track and the Plans are finally back on track, Setup was ordered and deposit placed last friday.   Tank ended up being 8.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 ( 300 US Gallons) with a 6ft sump. (115 Us gallons).   Ive got about 4 weeks of waiting ahead of me so time to start planning and moving...

Here in Australia they are in every LFS, Guess it sometimes pays to be this far away, although not very often :)

Got my first Blue Acara's maybe 6 months ago, and have added alot of fish since then but they are easily my favourites. Always at the front of the tank and beautifully coloured. It seems always happy to see me. Got them nice and small and have let them grow.

The only problem ive had with this site is people telling you what you should'nt do.....If everyone had to keep clown loaches in 5 ft tanks no one would have them, All fish start small and get big.....the onus is on the owner to provide the bigger tanks as the fish grow.
