Fishless Cycling - No Ammonia, No Nitrites?!

Hiya, I'm back again! I started fishless cycling a few weeks ago but had no ammonia or water testing kit to start with so was using food (added daily). Then I got ammonia and testing kit so I did a 33% water change (was very funky from the food) and started an 'add and wait' cycle. I got...

I've added more food over the last few days so I guess I'm going with the food instead of pure ammonia method now... So it could be a bacterial bloom, but also due...

    Cloudy Water Before Cycling

Hi, I've read the advice here and am going to start a fish less cycle of our new 54l tank, but I think we didn't wash one of the ornaments very well and the tank has gone cloudy and not cleared, after four days. Do I take the ornament out and wash it better or leave it in?! (I don't think it's...
