I managed some quick pictures afterall.  I did with and without the flash as it shows what I am talking about better.  Those dark edges on his fins don't actually come out right.  To the naked eye that tissue actually looks solid and not black like it looks in my photos... which makes me unsure...

Sorry, can't get a photo today will try tomorrow.   I change 50% of the water once a week, in the last 2 weeks I've changed 50% twice a week.  I vacuum the substrate.  Other than medication in this last two weeks I add the fluval Aqua Plus and EasyLife Profito for the plants.

My anubias nana is actually not anchored, the roots are so long they easily can be covered leaving the thick bit above. Bogwood is a good idea, I've not done it in this tank before (had it in my big tank before I sold it all). I'm thinking more resin rocks or logs for hidey places.
