I started 86 degrees with 2 tbsp of salt per five gallons basically on the 4th of april, so far all spots have dissappeared on the cichlids and they are swimming nicely, catfish seem ok too, the plecos however are covered in small spots that kinda look ilke ich but have more of a brownish tint...

    Possible Ich On New Fish

I just got a 75 gallon cycled, added a bunch of peacocks, couple haps, two bristle nose plecos and 3 wild caught synodontis multis. Couple of the cichlids were flashing and now i noticed a few lil white specs on their fins and body, one is worse than the others. I really want to take care of...

    Stocking List

Definitely a yala swamp hap according to pet store, we'll see how it turns out lol It may be leaving the tank though, its taking charge and I dont really enjoy it over the peacocks so if he keeps chasing everyone hes gonna be gone. I also added an albino eureka and a intermedius to the tank...

    Fishless Cycling

Still going through 4ppm of ammonia in three hrs, nitrites are still green off the charts, and nitrates are still sitting at 5-20ppm. Nitrites have been this way for over two weeks, i'm on day 24 now I believe. Guess I get to keep waiting on them to drop lol I want fishies! :P

    Fishless Cycling

I'm doing ammonia every 12 hrs, i think ive decided nitrites are for sure off scales and its possible that my well water had the 20ppm of nitrates from the start, i never tested it and havnt had time today to try it. I think i'm just gonna wait a few more days and see what goes on before doing...
