Ok I put this a different spot. But found this area and thought I would ask in here. I am pretty sure this is a sword plant. Now there is a growth that sprouted and has what looks like a root system. Is this how they sprout new ones ? Can I cut this and replant it?

Ok so I just pick off my first baby fern and have placed it into its new home. I just have a anubis and think they both should be able to share this tank and light. I have a few more I think I can pick and place in my 55 gallon.

I have some doing the same thing and actually are leafs now. So how big do they have to be to take them off and can you just let them float to get bigger or what. What do you do with them while they are getting bigger

Not sure about how high I think a little less then 24 tho me to.I would like a few more but I do not want to have to add co2. I do not want to over populate with plants so I have to add co2. But maybe as I get better with live plants and hopefully these ones live I can add more.

Update on how my tank is doing so far. I switched from gravel to a fluorite and sand substrate. Added a few live plants. They seem to be doing ok . I added root tabs. I add flourish fert twice a week . Might even add clay balls at some point. I noticed some new growth on one sward plant so...
