Oh, they're wild minnows, but that would still apply. Also, I monitor the levels of ammonia and other things, and I have a filter and a pump. If they were 1-2 inches at full size, how many should I have in my tank? By the way, I might be posting a picture of them soon on here so I can get...

Are you sure? I've had mine for about 8 months, and they're all still about 1 inch. Anyone else want to share what you think?

What I'm worried about is the wild minnows being immune to a disease the store bought minnows aren't and vice versa. What should I do in that case? (Oh yeah, this isn't important, but the minnows I have right now are the wild minnows and the ones that I'm planning to add are the store minnows.)

I was just wondering if there was some way to test an aquarium for diseases? Maybe something like a water testing kit, except for diseases?

But there's not like a testing kit I can get to test for diseases? I know there's testing kits for testing the levels of stuff like PH, Ammonia, etc.

Is there any way to test a tank for diseases, or would that even help detect what you were talking about? I love minnows a lot, and I think they shouldn't be used as bait or feeder fish. But if I were to take the small chance of mixing them together, which group of minnows could it affect...
